We’re so happy to introduce one of the absolute stalwarts of the Seattle sewing scene today: it’s Stitches on Capitol Hill! They have been kind enough to donate a whopping $100 voucher as a fabulous prize for a lucky Seattle Frocktails winner as well as contributing to the goodie bags (which everybody gets - yay!)…
Opened by Amy Ellsworth, Stitches has been independent and locally owned since 2004, and provides fashion fabric, notions, and yarn to designers, home sewers, and creative people throughout the Puget Sound area.
In their own words, they “are not your typical fabric store. Our focus is on interesting and new products and an atmosphere to reflect that attitude.
At Stitches you'll find a great selection of quality products. Every bolt of fabric, notion, and skein of yarn is hand-picked by our buyers who are dedicated to the needs of our customers. We have a large selection of silks, wools, stretch fabric, cotton prints, canvas, oilcloth, faux fur, costume fabric; and the list goes on. If you’re looking for something special, give us a try. We bring in all sorts of unusual one-of-a-kind fabrics”.
Stitches also has an immense notions wall, a selection of Cascade yarns, lots of trims and a wide variety of sewing, knitting, weaving, felting and embroidery classes for all levels of student.

A very big thank you to Amy and the team at Stitches!
